Creating Community
through Scottish Dance
Shot of Scotch relies on donors and supporters (like you!) to create the connections and relationships we do. Each year we:
— create innovative new Highland dance choreographies
— showcase our art form and culture to new communities
— seek opportunities for compelling collaborations
— provide adults with Highland dance classes
Through our community outreach performances here in BC, every year we share the beauty of Highland dance with over 14,000 audience members, across 6+ municipalities, and in more than 15 venues!

Donations
Because of your generous support, we’re proud to create low-cost and free performances with other non-profit and charitable organizations across BC.
Your donations also help us:
Rent rehearsal space for performances and classes
Pay dancers and musicians for their dedication
Provide support for travel, costumes, shoes, and swords (yes, swords!)

Society Membership
Purchasing an annual $25 society membership is an easy way to support our mission and to receive special perks!
As a Member of the Shot of Scotch Dance Society you will receive:
— Preferred pricing for all SoS Vancouver-produced events
(Classes, Whisky Fling, Cèilidh, and SoS Van shows)
— 10% off Pilates Process classes and dance supplies at Tartantown
— Regular updates on SoS Vancouver performances and events
— Access to additional member benefits as they become available
— Students and company members are eligible to vote at our AGM
